Coronavirus Response and Community Support Update
During this challenging season, Terebinth Ministries remained committed to serving communities across Northern Uganda despite the disruptions caused by the global coronavirus pandemic. As government restrictions were introduced to protect public health, ministry teams adapted their activities while continuing to provide support, encouragement, and practical assistance to those most affected.
Responding to Changing Circumstances
Government regulations introduced during this period significantly affected daily life throughout Uganda. Travel restrictions, limitations on public gatherings, and reduced business activity created new challenges for families, workers, and vulnerable individuals across the region.
Many households depend on daily income to meet basic needs, making extended restrictions particularly difficult. Terebinth Ministries closely monitored developments while seeking ways to continue serving communities safely and responsibly.
Despite the uncertainty, ministry leaders remained encouraged by the resilience and faith demonstrated by local churches, staff members, and community partners who continued supporting one another during this difficult time.
Healthcare and Community Support
The Dream Center Uganda Clinic continued operating to provide essential healthcare services for patients in need. Medical staff remained available to assist community members while following updated health and safety guidelines.
As transportation became more limited, access to healthcare became increasingly important for families living in rural areas. The clinic worked to maintain critical services and ensure that individuals could continue receiving care during a period of heightened concern and uncertainty.
The ministry also remained focused on supporting vulnerable families facing economic hardship as restrictions affected employment opportunities and household income.
Widows Ministry Assistance
Practical support efforts continued through the Widows Ministry, which helped provide food and essential supplies to families experiencing increased financial pressure during the pandemic. Distribution efforts were carefully organized to ensure resources reached those with the greatest needs.
These initiatives reflected the ministry’s commitment to caring for vulnerable individuals and demonstrating Christ’s love through practical action. Food assistance provided encouragement and relief to many households facing uncertainty during this period.

Although many normal ministry activities were temporarily limited, opportunities remained to encourage people through prayer, discipleship, communication, and community support.
